Wedding Entertainment

Wedding entertainment plays an important part of your wedding. It sets the mood and helps pull everything together. There is some type of entertainment to fit every budget wedding.

There are several types of wedding entertainment that you can consider. The most popular form of entertainment is music and dancing. Others may be more appropriate for premarital parties such as bachelor and engagement parties.

Begin by deciding the manner in which your music will be delivered. There are plenty to choose from when it comes to your musical entertainment choices. You may want to hire a harpist, or perhaps the church choir or organist is all you’ll need. Although your wedding style and formality may play a part in your selection, the choice is simply a matter of personal preference.

Of course your ceremony musical selection will be quite different than your reception musical selection. The difference may be in how it is delivered as well as what type of music is played. Some ceremony and reception sites have musical restrictions or guidelines that may ultimately effect your decision.

An easy way to entertain your guests is to offer dancing at your wedding. Other than making sure that you have adequate floor space, that’s all there is to it. You and your fiancé may want to take a few dance lessons prior to the big day. Whether you choose to take lessons or not, practice dancing to your pre-selected “first dance” song.
